OAO NAK AKI-OTYR applies GIS-technologies in surveying

OAO NAK AKI-OTYR (PJSC RussNeft subsidiary), took a new comprehensive approach for management of oil wells positioning.

For managing of this project the WellTracking 3.0 system was used. The system allowed to solve several problems: gathering, editing, and storing of spatial drilling data in local and enterprise geodatabases, as well as carrying out data exchange between different sources.

Besides this, WellTracking system allowed to get accurate picture of all wells and sites of the company and to effectively monitor technical and business processes associated with drilling at the enterprise level.
