What’s new in WellTracking 3.1 to ArcGIS 10:
- new licensing has been implemented –instead of HASP the user now obtains the registration key generated based on the user’s computer ID;
- a new Connections with database tool, allowing for switching between geodatabases directly in WellTracking has been added;
- the Database creator tool has been included to the WellTracking main menu;
- the tools of the Reports group now support the new *.dot and *.xlt templates, so that they now can be used by specialists working with previous MS Office versions (2003/2007/2010);
- an option to enter coordinates with the precision of more than 3 decimal places has been added for the Reports tool group;
- an option to copy the nodes coordinates from the .xls tables clipboard has been added for the Create license area, Update license area, and Update pad tools;
- the wellbore status is now automatically modified by loading the measurement;
- the bottomhole status is now automatically modified;
- an option of recording the wellbore paths copied to the WellTracking geodatabase from clipboard has been added – they are recorded to the INCLINATION DATA JOURNAL table;
- a new Update target-point tool has been added;
- minor fixes and enhancements have been made in the Create wellhead, Report forms administration, Inclination data journal, and 3D analyses tools.
What's new in WellTracking 2.2:
- Option of batch exporting of wellbore geometries has been added to the Export inclination data tool.
- Option of copying well numbers from clipboard has been added to “Wellhead coordinates”, “Well coordinates” and “Formation well top data” reports.
- WellTracking now supports all types of databases, including FGDB.
